Huley Williams of Brooklyn, NY is accused of being the man who committed the "slash and grab" in the Hersheypark parking lot around 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, police said and Daily Voice previously reported.
Williams (pictured above on the right) is accused of being the man (pictured above on the left) who was caught rummaging around in the backseat of a car when they were confronted by the owner of the vehicle and their family, so he 'slashed the victim across the face with a knife before running from the scene with the victim's credit card," the police said.
Isabel Marie Santos, 44, of Jersey City, NJ, is thought to have worked with Williams to obtain the credit cards, which she used to make over $5,600 in purchases at a Target in Bucks County, according to Derry Township police.
Williams was arrested by Derry Township police officer Jason Rode on a warrant for the following charges on Tuesday, Sept. 17:
- ROBBERY-INFLICT SERIOUS BODILY INJURY.
- AGGRAVATED ASSAULT.
- THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE.
- CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY-THEFT FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE.
- ACCESS DEVICE ISSUED TO ANOTHER WHO DID NOT AUTHORIZED USE.
- CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY ENGAGING-ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD.
- CRIMINAL USE OF COMMUNICATION FACILITY.
- CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY ENGAGING-CRIMINAL USE OF COMMUNICATION FACILITY.
- THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING.
- CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY ENGAGING-THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING.
He has been held in the Dauphin County Prison after being denied bail by Judge Dominic Pelino at his preliminary arraignment held at 3:58 p.m. on the day he was arrested, according to his docket. His preliminary hearing is set before the judge at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8
Williams and Santos are thought to be part of a team who are accused of using stolen credit cards at Chocolate World, Hersheypark, and other area businesses.
Santos is wanted on 46 charges including conspiracy, theft, and access device fraud.
